Liquid Desire becomes your floating base for private fly fishing on the Great Barrier Reef. You stay on board, and each day you fish the sand flats of Batt Reef and Tongue Reef, out of Port Douglas.
The fishing
Fishing is timed around the low tides, when the flats open up for walk-and-wade fly fishing.
- Indo-Pacific permit, including permit following rays
- Golden trevally and giant trevally
- Also triggerfish, chinaman fish, spangled emperor and cobia
